The first ever white ligers have been born at Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina. Ligers are the biggest cats in the world. A liger is an offspring of a male lion and a female tiger. There are roughly 1,000 ligers in the world and almost all of them have been born in captivity. These are the first white ligers, the result of a male white lion and a white tigress.

There are only around 300 white lions and 1,200 white tigers left in the world, so the cubs’ father, Ivory and mother, Saraswati, are both extremely rare too!
